I’m excited to share the story behind Through Jamie’s Eyes: A Grey Skies Collective. This business hits close to home for me—it’s more than just a lens, a photo, or a transaction. It’s a personal tribute to my late father, Jamie Amado. As the name suggests, Through Jamie’s Eyes is how I like to imagine my late father is still seeing the world—one beautiful photo at a time.

After losing my father to his battle to depression on 11/11/22, I found a way to honor his memory through photography. A few short years later, I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world—Adrian Grey. That’s where “Grey Skies” comes in. my beautiful little boy gave me the push I needed to finally pick up the camera again, to find new perspectives in life, and to realize that even though I can’t see my father, he’s still seeing all of us—through our eyes. They are both truly my muses, along with my supportive partner, friends, and family.

Outside of photography, I’m a proud mama to my son Adrian — he’s the heart behind everything I do. If I’m not playing peek-a-boo or chasing him around the house, you can probably find me out in nature with a Red Bull in hand, or vibing out to a Fortnite match from the comfort of home.

I’m a bit of a homebody these days, but I’ve lived a lot of life — and I carry that with me into every session. As someone who’s faced mental health battles, including BPD, I see people deeply. I recognize pain, joy, healing, and hope — and I aim to capture all of it with empathy and care. Every story matters, and every photo is a small piece of proof that you were here, and you were seen.

As a token of love and respect, 5% of my earnings from each session will be donated to various suicide prevention charities, supporting a cause close to my heart.
